Another year comes to an end here in the studio. Every year at this time, I think about all that has gone on over the year and count my blessings. And, I think about what I want to accomplish in 2018. Goals are made to be written down, pondered over, kept in sight on a daily basis, and followed through on.

The most important lesson is that once a goal is set in motion, it requires ACTION, not hesitation. To keep many daily plans in order is a challenge, but it can bring about much fruit with some diligence.

Here’s to the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018!

The VSA/MTK book complete! The book Bear's Special Christmas Tree, written by Mary Kitchens and illustrated by the VSA Adult Art Class has arrived!

The book was a big success!

We received shipments of Bear’s Special Christmas Tree this week! To top off the week, their was a special book signing party at the Annual VSA Art Exhibit. All the illustrators got to sit at the tables, surrounded by their artwork, and sign the books that were for sale.

I was so impressed! It was gratifying to see them with the final book product. All that hard work in illustrating their individual characters paid off! Well done, VSA Adult Art Class members!
